Happy Clients?Have you ever entered your local Business Awards competition? The winner is determined by votes registered by their clients or customers. This is really a very public survey of client satisfaction.

Are you prepared for such a public viewing of your practice?

 
Strangely, you could score well on a client satisfaction survey, but still not giving them what they really want and need.     Let me explain.
 
Your clients may be happy with the level of compliance based services you provide, and score you accordingly. At the same time they may be screaming out for advice on marketing, personnel, funding, succession, and a whole range of other issues.
 
The problem is they have fairly and squarely put you in the 'compliance' box, they may even refer to you as 'the bean counter'. They are oblivious to the fact that you can help them in so many other ways. They may even be seeking this type of advice from people less qualified than you.
 
How do you think your Client Satisfaction would rate if you just worked very closely with a small group of hand picked clients?
 
  • You would get to know exactly what each client’s needs were 
  • You would be able to develop a strategy to meet those needs at every level.
  • You would get very close to a perfect score.
 
But you’re probably too busy doing compliance work to think about your clients’ needs right now. How do I know? Because I’ve been there too. That was, until I found a better way to run my Accounting Practice.
 
I used to have $5,000 clients referring their friends to me. I now have $50,000 clients referring their friends to me. Their satisfaction levels have skyrocketed, and so has mine.
